Prenatal Yoga

The benefits of prenatal yoga are vast and supported by years of research. Prenatal yoga offers mamas-to-be the much needed opportunity to connect with their body and their babies on a deeper level. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, the benefits are immediate and profound. Prenatal yoga helps mamas focus on balance, strength and breathing techniques for pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. Guided by Meg; a Mom herself, students will enjoy a safe and relaxing yoga practice that teaches them to nurture their bodies throughout all stages of pregnancy.

This class offers benefits such as increased flexibility, reduced stress and anxiety, decreased pains and aches, improved sleep quality, and most importantly, an opportunity to connect with other moms in your community.

Bolsters, Blankets and straps are provided but blocks are limited so bringing your own (2) is recommended. Prenatal Workshops are held at varying times at Soul Sweat Yoga Studio’s Old Saybrook location.
